Join me in supporting real change for good in the world and making a difference.
My first encounter with Washtenaw Literacy was through a flyer they had posted at Washtenaw Community College while I was teaching there. I joined them because I believe that being able to read, write, speak, and understand English is essential to being able to live and thrive in our society.
One of my early learners has learned to thrive especially well. She recently contacted me to thank me for helping her improve her English. She is now a research statistician at Yale University, where she will start a PhD program this fall.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Washtenaw Literacy and helping other learners like this young woman.
