Adult literacy is more than reading books. It is completing a job application, understanding a ballot, writing an email, navigating medical forms, on and on. Everywhere, succeeding at life leans heavily on literacy. Reasons for literacy lapses span from juvenile illness to professional relocation.
Volunteers meet Learners in many venues throughout our community. Maybe you have seen us chatting coming and going or overheard us while having a coffee. You can support adult literacy work throughout Washtenaw with your donation.
